Privacy Policy
Effective: August 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information GAIN COMPUTER INC. collects, how we use it, and the choices available to you when you use gainCOMPUTER (the “Service”).
Information We Collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect information such as your email address, username, and authentication details. Our authentication and database providers process some of this information on our behalf.
Billing and usage information
We maintain your credit balance, purchase history, and records of metered usage, including token counts and associated costs.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card details.
Saved content
Plugins, presets, and other content you save to your library may be stored on our servers and synced with your account so that you can access them across supported devices.
Agent conversations
When you use our agent features, your prompts and relevant conversation context are transmitted to a third-party AI service provider so the Service can generate a response and help build your plugins.
Conversation history may be stored on our servers so that you can resume previous sessions. Please do not submit sensitive personal information, confidential material, or content you are not authorized to share.
Technical information
We may collect information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service, such as IP address, device or browser type, timestamps, error logs, and basic diagnostic data.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
- Authenticate users and maintain accounts.
- Process purchases and calculate usage.
- Save and synchronize your library and conversations.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Diagnose technical problems.
- Meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Audio and Music Data
The plugin does not record your audio. Audio and music processed locally by the plugin remain on your device unless you deliberately use a feature that clearly allows you to upload or share them.
Cookies and Tracking
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell information for targeted advertising.
We may use cookies or similar local-storage technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, preferences, and the operation of the Service.
How We Disclose Information
We do not sell your personal information or disclose it to advertisers.
We disclose information only when reasonably necessary to:
- Work with service providers that support authentication, databases, payment processing, AI-powered features, hosting, and transactional email.
- Protect the security and integrity of the Service.
- Comply with applicable law or a valid legal request.
- Complete a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
Service providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their assigned functions and are expected to handle it in accordance with their contractual obligations.
Our primary service-provider categories include:
- Account and database infrastructure: Supabase.
- Payment processing: Stripe.
- AI processing: a third-party AI service provider.
- Hosting: Railway.
- Transactional email: Brevo.
Data Retention
We retain account information, saved content, billing records, usage history, and conversation history for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the Service from misuse.
Information may remain temporarily in backups or security logs after account deletion before being removed through our normal retention cycle.
Deleting Your Account
You can request account deletion through the ACCOUNT panel in the plugin.
Deleting your account permanently removes or schedules the removal of your account, server-side conversation history, synced library, credit balance, and associated usage records, except where we must retain limited information for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Plugins and other files saved locally on your devices are not removed when you delete your account. You remain responsible for deleting those local files.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no internet-based service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
To submit a privacy request, contact us at admin@gaincomputer.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age.
International Processing
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate protections for international transfers of personal information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service or our data practices change. We will post the updated policy and revise its effective date. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will provide additional notice when required.
